On Tuesday 22nd November 2011 the work of the WWTP in Awaille will begin.

The plant has a capacity of 9.050 PE. Important anti flooding actions are taken on the work site.

The division of waster water and storm water is carried out by lifting pumps.

Waste water from dry weather receive the following treatment :

-       Screening

-       Sand and oil removal

-       Biological treatment on 2 lines with sludge recycling

-       Clarification

A storm water tank of 752 m³ is forseen for storage of first storm water. Storm water will be progressivily treated in the processing system of dry water.

Sewage sludge will be dewatered and limed in a desodorised room.

The plant also includes a collecting station of septic tank with a capacity of 8 m³/day.
